Second guessing yourself can take its toll -do you sweat and worry that you are doing the right thing by everyone? When did you start having to be seen as 'doing what everyone else wants and expects?' or are you 'Being something you are not' .When did you stop being yourself?

As Louise Hay has said ''the truth is: one of the things we struggle with the most in life is being true to ourselves''

Giving yourself permission to BE YOURSELF is the start. If you have been trying to please so many people for so long you will have to work on yourself so let's start here...

We sometimes confuse making everyone else happy as being happy ourselves. On the surface this may feel true but scratch at the surface and you are probably juggling and taking on too many things so that 'everyone else is happy'.

The 'quick fix' is to start saying NO and I would encourage this. Its not easy at first when you are a people pleaser however once you start it will empower you.

You will learn a new language and be able to articulate NO in friendly self loving ways. It doesn't have to sound like you are being rude or unfriendly - of course once you work on this in the long term you won't worry about it sounding rude or unfriendly! When you feel the empowerment of exerting your true self saying NO will come as second nature.

Remember you have a choice.

Start to TRUST YOURSELF.

- Show some compassion to yourself. Learn by your mistakes and move on. Do the same to others. Mistakes do not define us;

- Persistence pays off. Repeat your new behaviour. Be brave and let people see the real you;

- When you express your true self you will feel like a weight has lifted from your shoulders.

Giving yourself permission to be yourself is one of the best gifts you can gift yourself. Try wrapping it in affirmations -

''I am enough''

''I am clear and concise in my intentions''

''I am free to choose to live my way''

Go on do this for you, yourself.

Have a great week.
