After one week off to recharge, assess and plan the coming months I'm back.

Let us start the new year with the basics of making your life an extraordinary one and the one you want to live. Follow my blog posts this year to discover who you really want to be and how to be that person. I have decided to give you a complete program over the next months.

This program will give you the foundations for you to become your best self and your authentic self.

So, let's kick 2018 off...

Who are you? What is your life about?

This is a big question and one that takes some time to discover. Over the years you may have lost sight of who you really are never mind what you really want.

Firstly, lets look at the balance in your life. Not just work and pleasure, let's break it down into smaller categories in what is called 'the wheel of life'. Stay with me on this one, you may have done it before and its worth doing over the course of your journey and referring to it further down your life coaching path.

Be honest and rate your happiness and contentment with all aspects on the wheel. Rate 1 for very dissatisfied and 10 for extremely satisfied. Feel free to colour your wheel using colours that reflect the category or the rating.

Note that these lists are negative... now do separate lists for these categories and list the positive things you like about the category. As an example in Career the positives could be flexible with hours, great holiday entitlement, good work mates... You have made a good start. Take one of these categories that score 5 or less (I would suggest the least scoring category) and next week you can work on ways to improve the score using other tools I will supply you with.

Take your time to complete this and once done look at it and go through the areas of your wheel that scote 5 or less. Make a list for each of these categories and add to your list reasons why you aren't satisfied in this area. Make it one word or a statement. Take time again and delve deeply. An example would be career. If you score yourself 3 in this category your list could include - hate my job, boss is unrealisitic, hours do not fit in with my life, work colleagues make it hard to be happy, location change is stressing me out... let the list go on and on. If you want to start one on one coaching with me please email dawn@innerselfcoaching.com.au and we can formulate a program that focuses on your extraordinary life and how you can be the best version of yourself.

Enjoy completing the wheel and remember be mindful and present when you are completing it so that you get the most out of the exercise.

Until next week friends.

Regards,

Dawn
