Are you really the person you see in the mirror?

Is the person you see in the mirror who you actually are?
As women and many who are business owners we know the struggle of the juggle and how real it gets.
We know the balance we try and bring into our lives doesn't happen with a magic wand. We are fully aware of the things we have to sacrifice in order to keep everything afloat.
My question to you is WHAT'S STOPPING YOU BEING YOU?
Maybe you get sick of doing what everyone else wants?
Or have you forgotten about what you want and about you?
Your identity is about WHO YOU ARE not what you do - do you agree?
You are not JUST what you do... oh no no, you are much more than that.
If you have forgotten who you are and possibly have morphed into your partner, business, children, parents ideas of who they are.... try these 3 things -
1. Surround yourself with people who want to be around you. People that care about you.
If you feel pressure to act or be a certain way to fit in with people around you - that's a red flag!
They should never judge
You should be you warts and all around them
You should be able to trust in your truth
Never feel inferior or self judging
Challenge - Reflect on who is around you. Who lets you be you? Who is backing you? Can you let go of anyone?
2. Don't stop what you love doing.
Stop falling into what others want to do.
It's easy to forget what we love to do when we are busy being busy.
Challenge - Sit with a cuppa and ask yourself 'What do I love doing?' If you cant remember do some reminiscing - what makes you laugh? what fills your heart? What grounds you?
3. STOP consuming and comparing
I'm talking about Socials and emails and all the 'get rich quick' crap that you've subscribed to.
Instead of consuming start creating - start being who you are - write your own posts, brain storm some ideas for what you want to do and start to create something that uniquely yours.
Give up on the comparing yourself with others. You will never compare your start with someone else's start - it will always be you comparing your start to their middle or end! You are on a hiding to nowhere! Its all made up - the houses they rent, the designer gear they send back - you are just torturing yourself.
Having a goal and something to look up to is GREAT. Make it something real.
Challenge - Log off social media for 2 days and unsubscribe from those emails! You'll feel more you I guarantee.
There are so many things that make us, us and many of them are not what we do - all the hats we wear. Dig a bit deeper, get curious about what you want, what lights you up and start taking some intentional messy action and I promise you, you will recognise the person in the mirror as YOU.
